During the day, we are always amazed with the colorful flags that we see on the streets and highways. That is why we tend to look at every flag that we pass by. And even if we have seen these flags a number of times, we never get tired because it seems to soothe our minds from the stressful day ahead of us or from the tiresome work that we have just left behind. But after the day is done and darkness takes over, does that mean we’ll no longer see the colorful flags? No.

Flags are important symbols and it should never be overshadowed by the darkness of the night or by any weather condition. It must always be raised because it serves as a reminder to every believer that his ideals stands still and there’s always hope. That is why during the night, these flagpoles are illuminated by streetlights and even some have specialized lighting to further enhance the beauty of the flagpole.

Lighting for flagpoles is probably one of the most important consideration in setting up a flagpole because it will allow the flags to shine even at night. However putting up the appropriate lighting is not as easy at seems. Lights to be placed should not be numerous because lots of lights bore spectators. It should also be placed on the appropriate location because doing otherwise would reduce the impact of the flag. When a flag is decently lighted, onlookers will be impressed and gaze admiringly
