flagpole bracket? A flagpole bracket is a gadget used to hold the flag in the position desired by the owner. It can be adjusted to fit the desired flag position. Where is the flagpole bracket attached? Flagpole brackets are attached on solid surfaces such as cemented walls, steel poles and wooden fixtures. It is tightly screwed to the surface, and depending on the size and weight of the flag and pole, normally three or four screws should be enough, but there are other brackets that can be sufficiently supported with two screws only.
